This “Cowboy” sauna began as a beat down old shed from the 70’s…
And ended as a beautiful, modern rustic custom sauna that our clients Erin and Lisa will use to host their hip campers! This sauna used beautiful clear grade Japanese cedar and clear grade locally harvested and milled incense cedar (shoutout Levi Sawmill in La Pine, OR) for the benches. We installed a beautiful Harvia Legend 240 wood burning sauna stove to serve as the “soul” of the sauna. We love the salvaged nautical light to complete the look of the room. The floor employs the “Auerbach" method” of a sloped drain, with duck boarding over the thin layer of concrete.
